A Humble Introduction

Velcum Velcum!

I started this website because:

a. i have nothing to do.
b. i heart books.
c. the books heart me.

It started with my little trip to the National Library. Standing in the aisle, with rows and columns of books practically whooshing pass you. It is all a blur. The glorious splashes of colours of the covers, the wondrous aroma of the mostly new crisp books, the melodious ripples from the fast-turning pages, the krik-krak of the trolley which only signal the arrival of yours truly, more books, pages where people pen their thoughts, those sensational imaginations cramped into that one-inch of spine, the words entwine sending you into that exclusive place and euphoric sensations...

Books are mothers of globalization.

It made me disheartened to see books with dog-ears (i usually straighten them out even if it means the whole book has been dog-eared) or torn pages (**** ppl who do this! Mother******!) And books which look like they've been there since Sang Nila Utama saw that big-haired four-legged animal? That should be thrown out, recycled, donated or sold (which inevitably will end up in the trash) I'm allergic to decaying books. I'll start to get rashes.. And continued publication of old books is definitely encouraged.
